PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Led by Creative Santa Fe and NM Inter-Faith Housing, Siler Yard will provide urgently needed live/work housing and an affordable community studio space for the city’s lower-income artistic workforce. This 65-unit development includes eight residential buildings with four different unit configurations designed to maximize space and natural light for artists. Each unit and common spaces are served by high efficiency fan coil units with condensers at grade. LED lighting is used throughout each building and for the site lighting. The project will be the first net-zero energy affordable housing development in New Mexico. The project was awarded low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) financing through the NM-MFA.
