The Los Alamos Schools Credit Union, located on Central Avenue in Los Alamos, is their newest location and also the new home of the Los Alamos Public Schools Foundation. The LASCU has been serving the community in Los Alamos since 1955. Tipton Engineering worked with LDG Architects in Taos, NM to design this flagship location with energy efficient HVAC systems and unique lighting designs to complement their spacious lobby. An open lobby structure provided the engineering design team with the opportunity to layout attractive exposed ductwork and efficient LED lighting. Tipton Engineering worked with Owner banking and IT consultants to provide rough-in for specialty banking and security systems.
